Charlotte & Matt. Twin Pines Ranch Wedding. Idyllwild, California
Charlotte and Matt got married up in the Idyllwild mountains in Banning, California on 1200 acres at Twin Pines Ranch. This venue was amazing, and really has it all. The property has been around since 1962 and has transformed into a wedding venue since then. Nestled in the middle of the mountains, the landscape around the venue is breathtaking. We had so many different options when it came to photos all around the property. The ceremony started as the sun was starting to dip behind the mountains, creating the perfect glow of light for the wedding vows. After the first kiss, Charlotte and Matt walked down the aisle to a vintage Riverside County fire truck, complete with the siren and lights! Not a bad getaway vehicle, if we do say so ourselves! We started the romantic photos right during golden hour, and we could not have asked for better light! Surrounded by mountains, no matter where you turned the golden glow of light covered everything and we couldn’t go wrong photographing in any direction. After the epic romantic photos, we headed into the reception and had what just might be the best wedding meal ever, BBQ! Smoked on the property the morning of the wedding, it was divine. After toasts and speeches, the party really started. One of the many unique options Twin Pines Ranch offers, instead of having a traditional DJ playing today top music, a string band played! Complete with its own caller, the wedding guests were taught and square danced all night! Chairs were nearly empty the whole night as almost all the guests partook in the lessons and were square dancing pros by the end of the night. Towards the end of the reception, the venue brought out the wooden plank guestbook, which had been signed all throughout the day buy the guests, and was branded with a custom ‘CM” provided by Twin Oaks Ranch. We’ve photographed a lot of weddings over the years, and this is the first branding we have seen. Such a fun keepsake for Charlotte and Matt! As the evening came to a close, guests lined up and created the classic sparker tunnel for the bride and groom to run through, such an epic way to end an amazing day. It was our first wedding we’ve photographed at Twin Pines Ranch, and we hope we can capture another one soon! Here are some photos from the day!

Zac & Alexa /// Lake Oak Meadows Wedding. Temecula, Ca
Zac and Alexa had their wedding at the amazing Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula, California. This was our first time at this venue, and we cant wait for the next time we photograph here. Any venue with flames coming out of their lake gets and A+ in our book! But I digress, it was the perfect venue for the perfect couple. The day started with them getting ready alongside their furry kids (dogs) and thier best friends. (the bridal party) Fast forward to an amazing ceremony that was pretty much surrounded by water, leading to some amazing golden hour sun soaked (hows that for an adjective?) bridal portraits, epic grand entrance, tear jerker first dance and parent dances (including an epic impromptu father daughter dance, busting out moves I can only dream of doing), followed by some more epic dancing and other phenomenal formalities, finally leading to the end of the day. Featuring a magical bubble driven last dance, on the dock of the lake surrounded by fire fountains. (still not sure what to call fountains with fire mixed in, but fire fountains seem proper) You're going to need to check out the images below for the visual representation of all the amazing-ness that went down that day.
